Yes, it is possible to ride from Toronto to Haliburton mostly on trails. During this trip, I ate great food, stayed at amazing campsites, hotels, and bed & Breakfast, and rode through terrific landscapes, including 2 protected natural areas. Since 2000, a group of musicians in Peterborough, Ontario have provided an annual Christmas concert called In From The Cold. This concert not only celebrates the music of the season but is also an important fundraising event for the YES Shelter for Youth and Families. The revenue generated from the concert has become an important source of income to support homeless youth and families in the Peterborough area. This documentary explores how a group of Peterborough residents found a way to direct their passion while giving back to their community.
